Booty Cemetery ~ From Highway 117 in Kisatchee; travel east 1.2+ miles on Hwy 118 (opposite direction from Florien). Hairpin left turn onto unmarked gravel / dirt road at the NE corner of bridge and 1/10th of a mile drive / walk to cemetery on your right.

The approach to Booty cemetery

I took this photo so you could see the view of the road leading to the cemetery, as seen from the NE corner of the bridge.

The road turns from gravel to dirt surface, but it's in pretty good shape for driving, weather permitting.

Likewise, walking is a breeze if you are hesitant to drive. Park off the highway alongside the gravel entrance. The cemetery is only 1/10th of a mile up this road on your right.

I am including this photo as a visial because there really is no way to know the cemetery is back here unless you know exactly where the turn off is and what it looks. There is no sign on the highway to mark either the road or the cemetery, and you cannot see the cemetery from the road.

From Hwy 117 at Kisatchee, go east (opposite the direction to Florien)on Hwy 118 approximately 1.2+ miles. At this point, you should have just crossed a bridge spanning a creek (the other photo of this road shows the bridge rail, to put things into better perspective).

The road in becomes a dirt road after a short distance, and though well-maintained and easy to drive on in good weather, it may become slippery in wet weather. Therefore, you may wish to pull next to this gravel portion of the road if the weather has been poor, but keep 2 tires on the gravel if you do.

The cemetery is 1/10th of mile (about 5-600 feet) down this gravel / dirt road and on your right.
