Go North on US-421 North from Harlan, Kentucky and go across Pine Mountain. Turn left on State Highway 221 and go West and then turn right on State Highway 2008 / 3466 (Bigelow Rd). Proceed about a mile North to address 1067 Bigelow Rd. The street numbers are on a garbage can enclosure on the left side of the road going up the hill. There is also small water tower on the left side of Bigelow Rd. The side road leading to the water tower and a home just past the water tower is called Water Tower Rd. From State Highway 2008 / 3466 (Bigelow Rd) turn left at the address 1067 Bigelow Rd and go straight back taking the left-hand branch of the Water Tower Rd off-shoot and head towards a house straight ahead and at the end of the off-shoot road. Turn left on a dirt road before reaching the house at the end of the off-shoot road. At this point an ATV or walking is needed. From here it is about a little over a mile to the cemetery. On the graded road take a left at the first two-way fork in the road. Then at the three-way fork there are 2 options as follows:
1) Take the right branch at the three-way fork and at next two-way fork take a left and go up the hill. Use GPS numbers to find the cemetery, it is about 30 feet off the trail on the right hand side under and nearby a large evergreen oak tree that is surrounded by deciduous trees which lose their leaves in the winter. There were four or five rock markers in the un-fenced cemetery.
2) Take the center branch at the three-way fork and at the 3rd right side path (the 2nd and 3rd right side paths are less traveled) and go up the hill. Use GPS numbers to find the cemetery, it is about 30 feet off the trail on the left hand side under and nearby a large evergreen oak tree that is surrounded by deciduous trees which lose their leaves in the winter. There were four or five rock markers in the un-fenced cemetery.
