In early 2004 we found an angel that we wanted as a part of our property. The original was sculpted in 1895 by William Wetmore Storey for his wife, who is interred at a Protestant cemetery in Rome, Italy. Our Grieving Angel was sculpted from a single block of white marble and weighs approximately 5800 pounds. She resides in our Chapel of Honor committal pavillion.
