Location - Matthews Township. West of SR 1101, Moons Chapel Road, 0.7 mile south of US 64. Cemetery is in pasture behind house at 706 Moons Chapel Rd.　

Located in a pasture behind a tobacco barn, enclosed by a stone wall - about 12 graves, no legible markers. On private property. Be sure to inquire.

This cemetery is listed by the Chatham County Historical Society, but no names are listed. The CCHS merely states that members of the Pounds and Moon families are said to be buried here.

The CCHS also lists this cemetery as the Old Moons Chapel Cemetery.
