Located in the Etta Bend community four miles south of Welling, Cherokee County. There is another Catron Cemetery located in Section 26, Range 23E, Township 16N.

Reported by Tyner in the American Indian Institute's "Our People And Where They Rest," James W. Tyner, Maxine Tyner and Alice Tyner Timmons, University of Oklahoma, Norman, OK. 1982 (Library of Congress No. QE99-C5-T97) Volume 11, p. 34.
