Add PhotosThe area where the Cemetery is located used to be called Bump Rock because there where a lot of rocks sticking up out of the ground about 8 to 12 inches high and about 8 inches in diameter and looked like bumps on the ground so they called the area bump rock.
The first person to be buried there was John Washington Edwards.
There was an old oak tree there and John told his family that he wanted to be buried under that oak tree and did not want anyone else to be buried there.
This Cemetery is located on Martin Creek Road beside the Walmart east coast Distribution Center.
The Cemetery is located back in the middle of some woods but the Cemetery it's self is clear with grass for the now.
The Cemetery is on private property and has a cable across the path with a lock.
This is my mothers family and so I have a key to the lock.

There are 39 graves in this cemetery.
There are about 7 unmarked graves some of which have rocks marking the site of the graves.
