It was believed that the entire Leggin family died from cholera and was buried on Bay Ridge. According to the 1850 Census, dated July 27, 1850, William Blackman (age 12), John Townes (age 6), Adeline Cynderilla (age 3), and Charles Hill (age 6 mths.) survived.
This cemetery is located on Bay Ridge, west of Wire Road, Walker South Road.
