COZART, filed two suits against Joseph W. LIVINGSTON, for the north half and south half, respectively, of a tract of land in the eighth district, northern Muscogee county, each tract containing 257 1/2 acres. Petitioner claims that she has titles to this land, but that Mr. LIVNGSTON has been in possession since January 1, 1904, and is still in possession and is receiving the rents. // In the abstract of title petitioner claims that P. J. BIGGERS gave her a deed to the land in question, August 20, 1887, to be hers during her natural life and at her death to go to her children and Mr. MATTHEWS, as they are […] sideration, love and affection and $3. The land involved is several miles north of the city, east of the Hamilton road. The lands of John CARTLEDGE and Jacob MOON adjoin the farm." [Columbus (GA) Enquirer-Sun newspaper, Sunday, 17 APR 1904, part 2, p. 13.]
" CITY NEWS…Birthday Dinner. // A happy occasion was that of the birthday anniversary and dinner of Mrs. M.W. OGLETRREE, at her home five miles north of the city last Saturday. This happy occasion was the celebration of Mrs. OGLETREE's seventy-seventh anniversary. All of her children were present to enjoy the day and extend loving congratularions as well as to feast of the rich viands that was so richly prepared to be served to the happy guests present. The dinner was served incourses, consisting of Ham, port, fried chicken, custard, cake and cream. The day was most delightfully spent by the children of their aged mother, making a period in their lives that will be long remembered. Those present were Mr. and Mrs. J. T. LIVINGSTON, Mr. and Mrs. J. W. LIVINGSTON (by a former husband), Mr. and Mrs. C. C. OGLETREE, Mr. and Mrs. E. E. COLEMAN, Mr. Lonnie OGLETREE, her youngest son, and with whom she resides. Besides her children present, her only brother and his wife, Mr. and Mrs. B. A. BIGGERS, were also present. At a late hour in the afternoon the relatives took their departure to their respective homes with hearty wishes that all might live and meet again in another happy occasion a year hence. // S. B. B."
