The easiest route is to take Kimball Road to Goss Hill Road to the Ellis Cemetery. Heading North from Huntington on Rte 112, Kimball Road is a dirt road 1/2 mile from the Knightville Bridge on the left. Heading South from Worthington, it is the last dirt road on the right (if you reach the bridge, you've gone to far).
At the Kimball & Goss Hill Road intersection, turn right.
Ellis Cemetery is approximately 1/2 mile after the red farmhouse at 181 Goss Hill Road. According to the owner, who told me where the cemetery was, the house is the original homestead of the Ellis family.
Ellis Cemetery is not very well tended. There is a small sign nailed to a tree. There are four stone stairs from the road. There are indications of more graves than there are markers. The majority of the markers are to your right as you enter the cemetery. There are 6 old markers in the left front corner and 1 recent (2001) marker in the left back corner.
At the time that Walter Corbin did a transcription in 1939, there were 20 markers with 23 names.
