Neely Cemetery
Also known as Mooney Cemetery
Dagonia, Reynolds County, Missouri, USA
The GPS coordinates are approximated at this time. If you get the coordinates when you visit the cemetery, I would be happy to post them in order they are accurate. Mileage is also approximate due to size of tires on vehicles.
Directions:
From Ellington intersection of Highways 21 and 106, take Highway 106 west about 6 miles to Highway B on the right. Take Highway B about 7.4 miles to a gravel road on the left, County Road 776. Take the gravel road about 1 mile (cross Logan Creek on a low-water bridge) until the road forks. Take the left hand fork about 1/2 mile to top of the hill. There is an unmarked road to the left. Take a left on the unmarked road. About 1/2 a mile in, there may be a "fork". Stay left. The other is a logging road due to the May 2009 storm. Go approximately another 1/2 mile and you will come to the fenced in cemetery. It was very well cared for August 2010. There are many graves marked with fieldstones. If you know the names of those marked by fieldstones, please contact me. (Directions were mostly taken from "Permanent Addresses in Reynolds County MO", by Delsa Lesh and Carol Massie in 1988) [Cathy Hill [email protected]]
