Hillside Cemetery

Le Quesnel village, which had been for sometime in Commonwealth hands, was captured by the Germans on 27 March 1918, but was retaken on the following 9 August by the 75th Canadian Infantry Battalion. Hillside Cemetery was made by the Canadian Corps in August 1918. The cemetery contains 108 First World War burials, three of them unidentified.
