Union Chapel, Anderson, Andersonville. This old cemetery is known by many names. The church you see in the photo is no longer used as a church. A new modern building is across the street. The antique and quaint county church now serves as someones home. Many stones in this cemetery are unreadable, many are buried, and or broken. The land is rather mushy and sadly has swolled some of the stones. Off route 104 outside of Chillicothe in Ross County.

The former Union Chapel Church is now a private residence. It's in bad shape. The cemetery is not in good repair. the grass is mowed, many stones broken and not readable. The land is quite marshy and litterally feels spogy beneath your foot. Evidence of stones covered by soil also exists.

The corner stone now in a flower bed area across the street from the church/residence and cemetery. Built in 1829, rebuilt in 1879, and new 1995. The new church and parking lot are across the street. Still a small country church.
