The "Goodyear Farms Historic Cemetery" is located on the west side of Sante Fe Trail at West Clarendon Avenue, in Avondale, Maricopa County, Arizona.

It has recently been enclosed by a concrete block wall on the north and west sides, and the only entrance is from Sante Fe Trail.

Sante Fe Trail is approximately 1/2 mile east of Dysart Road off Indian School Road, which is approximately 2 miles north of Interstate I-10

The Goodyear Farms Cemetery was established by Paul Litchfield in 1917, as the final resting place of the Goodyear Farms workers and their descendants.

It is also sometimes referred to as the "Litchfield Park Cemetery", and the "Litchfield Park Pioneer Cemetery", although the sign at the entrance states that it is the "Goodyear Farms Historic Cemetery", and it is located in Avondale, Arizona, and not Litchfield Park, Arizona.

The mural in this photo is by Cuban artist Victor Caldee which can be seen at the Goodyear Farms Historic Cemetery. It mural depicts the history of the Campesinos, farm workers, who labored to transform the Southwest Valley's raw desert into the rich farmland that is is today, and serves as a testimony to the hard work of the Mexican immigrants hired by Goodyear Farms in the early 1900s to cultivate cotton, a crop that was vital to the World War II effort.

Most grave sites are marked with a simple concrete slab, and very few have names or dates on them.

Plaque at the base of the large colorful mural. This historical monument is dedicated to these early farming pioneers who traveled from afar in search of life's blessings. "Litchfield" was founded around 1916 and was originally established as labor camp. This cemetery was founded by Paul W. Litchfield in 1917 for private use by hundreds of legally imported aliens and other employees whose services were to convert saw desert into gleaned fields for planting cotton and other crops. A serious influenza epidemic claimed more lives than WW I. Here in memory lies those and their families who dedicated their lives. This cemetery was once located in the heart of the labor camps and played a very important role in Arizona's history. The restoration of this historical property could not be completed without the help of the community and Goodyear Farms.
