AT THE FRONT OF THIS CEMETERY IS A LARGE STONE SURROUNDED BY SHRUBS WITH THE FOLLOWING INSCRIPTION: IN MEMORY OF CLARA LENTZ ROSS WHO UPON HER DEATH DECEMBER 15, 1953 BQUEATHED A LARGE ENDOWMENT TO THE NEW CHAPEL CHURCH CEMETERY IN PERPETUITY FOR THE CARE, PRESERVATON AND EMBELLISHMENT OF THE CEMETERY, THAT THOSE WHO ARE NOW, OR MAY HEREAFTER BE BURIED HERE, SHALL FOREVER REST IN PEACE AMID PLEASANT SURROUNDINGS.

New Chapel Church Cemetery is located at Watson in Utica Township, Clark County, Indiana. The adjacent church is at 5616 New Chapel Road.
From Hwy. 62, turn SOUTH on Utica-Sellersburg Road (about 6 miles from Jeffersonville), go about 1/4 mile to a T-junction. Turn left onto New Chapel Road. Go straight at the stop sign. The church is near the end of the road, on the left.
