this section is above very end of main lane entering all cemetaries at this part of Ashland. St. Mauritus/Old St. Mauritus one and the same cemetery, extends across lane on left to a small section along a row of large trees and up to woodline top of pic. Thes trees seperate St Mauritus and St. Joseph Cemeteries although a cable no longer exists along the trees and cems. . f/g member #47533410

This is the main section of St. Mauritus off entrance road from S. 24th St., Walnut or Spruce Sts. St. Mauritus cem also extends to a smaller section across lane (left) to top of hill. Lane to right is parking near a Grotto pavillion erected by friends of St. Joseph. Lane going up is Father Misteli Ave. which intersects w/Father Hoey Drive at top of cems running parallel to woods circling all the cems. in this section of Ashland by various other lanes. *St. Mauritus/Old St. Mauritus are one and the same cemetery. St. Joseph/Old St. Joseph and St. Mauritus are seperated by poles that no longer carry cable on left side out of this pic are easy to miss. This section from tree line on left to lane is also a part of St. Mauritus Cemetery on right along Father Misteli Ave. (lane up) intersecting w/Father Hoey Drive at top. There used to be a cable that seperated St. Mauritus and St. Joseph's running in between these trees. One pole can be seen near tree at bottom of pic. May be a total of 6-9 running from bottom to top-mid. easily overlooked. Information from caretaker 9/26/2011.

Old Saint Mauritius Cem. also extends from right to left across Father Misteli Ave. (lane up, shown-sign at top) to a small section near row of trees going up hill to woods at top connects to Father Hoey Dr. There used to be a cable seperating (Old) St. Mauritius and Old St. Joseph Cem. along these trees. Sections of poles exist in middle but easily overlooked. Part of Old St. Joe's can be seen here on left other side of tree/pole line going up. These metal posts seperate St. Joseph/Olds St. Joseph (shown left) and St. Mauritus/Old St. Mauritus (on right most out of pic) following large tree line to top where Father Misteli Ave. and Father Hoey Dr. intersect. These poles appear mostly middle up of cems. They number about 6-9, easily overlooked. Updated JB12/2011 f/g member #47533410

This row of poles about midway up used to hold cables seperating St. Joseph/Old St. Joe (left of pic) from St. Mauritus/Old St. Mauritus on the right mostly out of photo. St. Mauritus extends across Father Misteli Ave. to the main cem. section and up to woodline where Father Hoey Dr. intersects and continues parallel w/woods and St. Joseph to left. It also connects w/ MSCR. McPeak Blvd at top which seperates 2 sections of St. Joseph from entrance at Father Cesar Circle. Father Hoey Dr. continues over to meet Father Leo's Way (top) which seperates newer sections of both cems. completing a full circle around this section of cemeteries at top of Ashland. There may be a total of 6-9 of these poles mid-top to bottom, easily overlooked. 10/25/2011 f/g member #47533410
