MINEOLA - Services for Harvey Clements, 68, Mineola, are scheduled for 10 a.m. Friday at Broad Street Church of Christ with Steve Nevell officiating.

Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Gardens under direction of Beaty Funeral Home, Mineola.

Mr. Clements died Dec. 29, 2008, in Tyler.

He was born Feb. 2, 1940, in Hainesville to the late Edward Lee and Thelma Marie Stewart Clements. He was vice president of data processing and owned H&G Services until retiring in 2000. He was a longtime member and past district governor of Lions Club, served as secretary and president of Mineola Lions Club, board member of Mineola Youth Foundation and member of the Jaycees in Irving, Caring and Sharing, Lake County Playhouse and Texas Lions Camp.

Survivors include his wife, Glenda Clements, Mineola; sons, Harvey Rush Clements II, Mineola, and Edward Hunter Clements, Sanger; daughters, Sherry Ann Vann, Mineola, Karen Sue Williams, Midlothian, and Lisa Diane Broom, Uniontown, Ark.; brothers, John Clements, Dallas, and Edward Lee Clements Jr., Allen; sister, Peggy Baird, Lampasas; 17 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.

Family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
