Services for Mrs. Thelma Marie Stewart Clements, 76, of the Hainesville community, are scheduled for 2 p.m. Thursday in North Loop Church of Christ in Mineola with minister Leonard Tyler and Jim McDonald officiating.

Burial will be in Good Shepherd Garden in Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Mineola under direction of Roselawn Funeral Home in Mineola.

Mrs. Clements died Tuesday in a Tyler hospital after a lengthy illness.

She was born July 20, 1915, in Hainesville to the late Harvey Rush and Leslie Pearl Walker Stewart. She was married to Edward L. Clements Sr. on April 19, 1937, in Dallas. They returned to Hainesville in 1969 have several years in Irving. She was a member of North Loop Church of Christ in Mineola, Rebekah Lodge No. 220 in Mineola, Woodman of the World and Navy Mothers. She was retired as a seamstress within the clothing manufacturing industry.

Survivors include her husband of 55 years, Edward L. Clements Sr.; three sons and daughters-in-law, John D. and Jo Clements, Dallas, Harvey R. and Glenda Clements, Mineola, and Edward L. Clements Jr. and Carolyn Clements, Blue Ridge; two daughters and a son-in-law, Mary Ann Croxton, Carrollton, and Peggy Lee and Alton Baird, Lampasas; a brother, R.A. Stewart, Dorchester; three sisters, Gladys Causey, Shreveport, Era Barnett, Tyler, and Erma Gayhart, Portland, Ore.; 19 grandchildren; 38 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will include the following grandsons: Harvey R. Clements, Edward H. Clements, Randall Clements, Michael Vaughen, Frank Sartain, Larry Vann, Steve Pollard, Philip Davis and Raymond Frizzelle.

If desired, memorials may be made to charity of choice.
