Services for William Donald Yancy, 67, Tyler, are scheduled for 11 a.m. Wednesday at Tyler Tabernacle Church with the Rev. Mike Littlefield officiating.

Burial will be in Tyler Memorial Park under direction of Memorial Funeral Home, Tyler.

Mr. Yancy died April 22, 2007, in Tyler.

He was born Nov. 16, 1939, in Taskee, Mo., to the late General Lee and Mary Jane Yancy. He served in the Army, was a minister and a member of Tyler Tabernacle Church. He lived in Tyler for the last 10 years, and was preceded in death by brother, Louis Edgar Yancy.

Survivors include his wife, Janice Yancy, Tyler; daughter, Sheri Lyn Brown, Austin; sons, Samuel Aaron Yancy, New Boston, Stephen Paul Yancy and Simon Joseph Yancy, both of Tyler; sister, Mary Holder, Rockford, Ill.; brothers, Daniel Yancy, Poseyville, Ind., and Robert Wiley Yancy, Griffin, Ind.; and nine grandchildren.

Pallbearers are Matthew Yancy, Troy Brown, Harry Johnson, Bennie Pate, Keith Hopson, Randy Shirling, Mike Wright and Tom Winchell.

Honorary pallbearers are David Draper, John Riggle, Charles Sanders and J.T. Laney.
