Ohio Home Cemetery is located down a winding lane, on a pleasant hill, over looking the Scioto River. IT IS ON STATE PROPERTY. There are 48 graves, all circling a large Ohio Home Marker in the middle of the site. The other AKA names should be noted: 1869-1872, State Reform and Industrial School for Girls. 1872-1878, Girls' Industrial Home. 1878-1965, Girls' Industrial School. After 1965, Scioto Village, and later Riverview Juvenile Correctional Facility until 2013. The young females housed here were between the ages of 6 (six) and 17 (seventeen).
