Gold Star Honor Roll of Randolph Cty., IN

In 1921 the Indiana Historical Commission published a book listing men and women who died in the service of the United States in the World War. They checked the daily casualty lists in the United States Official Bulletin, the Indianapolis newspapers and the casualty lists sent out by the Adjuntant General in Washington to the Adjuntant General of Indiana. They complied information on every name found and listed them according to County of residence. In going through the book, it was obvious that some men listed in other counties also had connections to Randolph County. Others names were found in Winchester newspapers and on lists made locally many years ago.
