Jerry Weldon Lowe, age 65, of Ellston, IA, died May 14, 1992, from complications of Lou Gehrig's Disease. Funeral services at Ellston United Methodist Church, Ellston, IA. Graveside services held at Fields Cemetery, Clarke County, IA.Survivors include his wife, Patricia; a son Craig Lowe of Broken Arrow, OK; a daughter Patty Lowe of Des Moines; a brother Dick Lowe of Des Moines and two grandchildren.Born July 8, 1926, in Truro, IA, Jerry was a graduate of the Capital City Commercial College. He had lived in Des Moines for several years before moving to Ellston, IA in 1988. He was retired from IMT Insurance Company, was a World War II veteran and a member of College Avenue Christian Church, Des Moines.
