History: This area was originally known as East Granville. The markers now have disintegrated or were destroyed over the years. In the year 1862, a group of Lutheran families in the East Granville area, organized St. Peter's Lutheran Congregation. St. Peter's Church ceased in 1960 and the few remaining members transferred to St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Brown Deer.It is suspected this cemetery is neither church nor village maintained. The land for the cemetery was never deeded to St. Paul's upon the disbanning of St. Peter's.
