I was born September 19, 1940, the only child of Mildred (Van Tilborg) and Vernon Warren. Mildred died before I was born, so I was quickly delivered by c-section. I was raised by Mildred's parents, Elsie (Whitmarsh) and Glenn Van Tilborg and lived at their ranch in Crown King until I married in 1958. I attended Crown King school. Some years there were only 4 or5 kids in the entire 8 grades. Obviously, some grades had none! I took correspondence work from Phoenix Union High for my Freshman year, went to Mayer sophomore year, then to Tempe Union for 1 semester and back to Mayer where I graduated in 1958. I married Thomas Edward Starr on July 10, 1958 and we had 3 children. Steven, Kellie and Daniel. Steven currently lives in Scottsdale with his wife and 2 children. He is a Chemist. Daniel lives in Prescott with Peggy Stackwood. He has 2 daughters and 3 grandchildren. He drives truck for Swift. Kellie passed away in 2002 from ovarian cancer. She left behind her husband Steve, and 5 birth children and 4 adopted children. I am an author and song writer. I have sold Avon for many years, and attend church at the Buckeye Frist Ward LDS church.
