Our cultural association, the friends of Grez-sur-Loing (Seine-et-Marne ; France), is seeking information and contacts from the family of soldier WILLIAM ROY WALTERS, of Company A, 10th Infantry Regiment, 5th Infantry Division (Red Diamond).

Died on August 23, 1944 in our village of Grez-sur-Loing, by drowning in the Loing river, his boat having capsized. The Grez bridge having been destroyed by the Germans on August 18, 1944.
