We are cleaning up and restoring the Roark Cemetery in Noctor, Kentucky, in Breathitt County. This includes keeping the brush down, and properly cleaning and repairing the gravestones, on a regular basis. We are also trying to locate gravestones that have since sunk into the ground, based upon an old map of the cemetery that was given to us.

It is so important to preserve our past. All of us have ancestors who are buried here.

We are in the process of obtaining two grants, in order to do this very important work.
