Find a Grave ID

Bio

Recently retired (March 1st, 2023), I find I can do things that *I* want to do with my remaining time. I already spend some time in cemeteries, but strictly for photographing wildlife. Now I will include gravesites.

My sister, PJ, was been an avid grave finder for a number of years. She encouraged me to sign up & contribute. I will probably stick to San Mateo County. We have relatives in Colma (various) & San Mateo (Skylawn). My local cemetery is Saint John's & I have adopted it.

My interest is in GPS tagging. I was frustrated trying to find friends & relatives. Having to re-find after a few years. Using the app and my phone it is relatively easy to tag graves. I try to correct data when I see a problem.

I am a Navy veteran (1972-1978) and made seven patrols on nuclear submarines.

This is my second day on the job. I plan to make it a regular part of my life.
