Recently joined 'Find A Grave.'

Pre-teens: Our Girl Scout trooped cleaned up an old cemetery outside of town. Pulling weeds, cleaning up trash, cutting grass and then finally cleaning the headstones!

Mid-twenties: My mom began researching our family history and I naturally tagged along. We visited many cemeteries in the Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania area over the years.

As expected, life continued and our efforts were shelved.
Visiting family in 2019 I was informed that I might be interested in a box they found in Mommy's closet.

That was an understatement. Reviewing copies of letters and later emails (aol.com) sent to cemeteries for information reminded me how much we enjoyed searching for answers; and the mysteries that have yet to be resolved.

Today, with the assistance of the volunteers at 'Find A Grave' I have found a lot of invaluable information.
