Greetings!

For starters, I would like to inform everyone that the photos I post of graves, obituaries, etc., are for public use unless I indicate otherwise in the caption.

I understand the need for families to be reunited with their loved ones, and if the photos can assist in any way, please feel free to download them or do whatever suits your fancy.

As a committed volunteer, I strive to maintain the accuracy of the information I provide. Therefore, if you have suggested edits, please ensure they are accompanied by supporting documentation, links, or sources. This is to uphold the integrity of the Information, which is often used by sources such as Family Search and Ancestry.

When I take photos, I upload them through the Find A Grave app. This process adds the GPS location to the deceased's memorial page. If I notice a GPS location missing from a profile, I will upload my own photo, regardless of whether there is a grave photo. This ensures the GPS location is noted for individuals who want to visit the grave.

That said, if the photo is not to someone's liking or requires additional information from a gravestone, everyone can utilize the GPS feature to locate the grave and take their own photos. Photos can also be saved and downloaded into a plethora of photo editing apps, where anyone can edit and revise a gravestone photo to their liking.

Contacting myself or others to nit-pick on how people volunteer and/or the photos they voluntarily take for free in their own time is like complaining about how a person volunteers at a soup kitchen feeding those less fortunate when the people receiving the food are hungry and merely want to eat. It isn't about you, just as the family and friends of the deceased who volunteer are creating memorials that have nothing to do with one's personal preferences.

For this reason, I have unfortunately chosen to disable the messages feature for the foreseeable future.

Furthermore, I add obituaries in photo form and written form when applicable for those individuals who may be visually impaired and can not read a document yet utilize computer programs to read information out loud for them.

Lastly, please feel free to add screenshots, flowers, documentation, photos, etc., to a memorial page honoring the deceased. We should want the individuals to be celebrated and remembered. If you are a relative of the deceased, I will gladly transfer the memorial to keep the deceased with their loved ones.

Warmest regards,

B. Rose
