Hi . I'm Ian.

I had been researching my family tree for a number of years now, not really finding much information. I was lucky enough to stumble across this site, and in doing so have found some kind volunteers who were able to help with finding my relatives headstones. I have learnt so much, been able to visit and find the graves of my relatives just to say 'Hi. We've never met, but you are remembered' and to document it all for my little girl, and the future generations long after I am gone.

After being in awe of this kind volunteer who helped me find so many family members when the odds were so against me, I figured the best way to thank them was to 'pay it forward' and in doing so, try to help others to fulfil photo requests in areas where I live, or where I am travelling to/from. So now here I am, just an ordinary person who is now a member of a kind, caring community that wishes to help others connect with their loved ones past in their free time.

Unfortunately, it is not always possible to find grave/headstones despite best efforts, due to age (stones being illegible), fallen headstones, vandalism etc. or incorrect information. That said, I will always endeavor to try my best, even if that means multiple visits.

Let's go make some connections!
