Bio

Formerly know as PaGenieGirl my ancestors emigrated in early 1700's to Pennsylvania from Germany, Ireland and Scotland and settled in southeastern Pennsylvania. The Germans followed the german naming custom: if the father had 12 children then those children named their children the same names as their siblings in a specified order of their sons and daughters. Result, a lot of people with the same given name, and then there are the Scot/Irish who like to pass on their surname as a child's 1st or middle name.
My paternal family have always been deeply involved in genealogy so I grew up with a lot of info and history already recorded, I am expanding and linking these families.
