I am originally from North Western Ohio with mostly Luxembourgish, French and German ancestors. I currently live in Luxembourg. My interest in the Luxembourgish side of my family is in the Alvada, New Riegel, Frenchtown and Kirby, Ohio vicinity. Some of the many family names are: Boes, Yost, Nye, Wagner, Hess and Siebenaller. I also am researching the French side with the family names: Magrum, Foelinger, Meyer, Poudre, Schmitt, and Thirion and the German side with the names: Ottney, Schmitt, Schneider, Trautmann, Fox and Zimmer. Another line of interest is the Lowery, Montague branch. I'm always looking for historical pictures to make my genealogical research come "alive".
