As a textile artist and writer, I'm curious about the stories of my father's family, the descendants of GGGF Hamilton Jones Van Hoy and his son, GGF David Sebastian Van Hoy, who homesteaded in Goldendale, WA. (My family knows little about my maternal side of the family, who immigrated to the US in the early 'teens and whose line died out in one generation after settling in this country.
