Bio

30+ years family research (yes, pre-internet), degree in Geology, lifetime in Geophysics.
Data Manager for one of the world's largest oil companies, visited 26 countries, 10 years working overseas outside the USA, have done ancestor research in person in Germany, The Netherlands, Norway, France, England, and Ireland.
Extraordinarily organized and detail oriented, I follow NGS guidelines and hope others do also.
I despise grave hoarders, obituary trolls and uncooperative memorial managers who make up their own rules.
I have no personal rules for memorials I manage, and do not refuse any transfers or other requests due to "guidelines" (unless, of course, it's one of my own ancestors). Free and open communication plus ancestral relationships are key and override all "rules" IMO.
Please don't be upset if I don't respond to suggested edits. Seems I never actually see those messages, so most go thru the 21-day autofill.
