I have been researching my family history since being stationed in Puerto Rico in 1972. It is humbling to see grandfather's reaching back to the 1600's in England. They brought the Church of Christ religion with them when coming to the new world. I have the voyage date and ships log showing their names and occupations. The only thing better is seeing the wars and skimaces they were in ..from the French and Indian War to World War II. My paternal side of Hill and Hargrove has an even deeper history reaching back to Scandanavia.
