I am so grateful to Find A Grave for helping me identify names of my family, 3rd Great Grandparents, and finding so many of my relatives' graves in rural cemeteries in North Dakota and Minnesota. I love learning the stories of my long ago relatives and uncovering long lost bits and pieces of their lives. May their memories be for a blessing. I am a mom of four daughters, and enjoy sharing the stories of their pioneer midwife 4th great grandmother who was once drugged by bank robbers, for example! Other parts of the story are horrific - to learn a grandfather served in the 1st Cavalry at Fort Custer is just sad. This helps us honor all of the people in our story, including those whose stolen land we call home.
