Most of my ancestors came to the USA and Canada in the 1800s from Prussia/South Russia (Mennonites) and settled in the Dakotas, Minnesota, and Saskatchewan. I have enjoyed discovering the graves for relatives and have had the chance to clean some up, and provide simple graver markers for those who did have have any. It's a lovely way of honouring them.
It's also been very satisfying to be able to provide photos for others who find these family connections meaningful.
