I was adopted by my brother's dad and have only recently been researching my ancestry on my biological father's side. My paternal grandmother, Elsa Neubauer Svoboda Tatsch, passed away in 2018 and I inherited photos and some items which belonged to her grandmother, Sophie Meyer Cordes. I am hoping to connect with other Cordes/Meyer/Paschen/Wachron descendants as well as Neubauer. Caroline Cordes' maiden name was Paschen; her mother Sophie Wachron Paschen is buried at Smoothing Iron Cemetery.
