Doing research and learning how our ancestors lived and worked many years ago is always a mystery and when you discover something new about a person you are researching is a wonderful thing, I have had some people ask me why you are doing research on the past and I always have the same answer do you not want to know where your family came from. But I have to say many years ago I was the same I could have cared less about it until one day I happened to go with my mother on one of her family histories adventures and that was it I enjoyed it so much that I have even taken over doing what my mother had started and I haven't stopped yet. I enjoy traveling to visit the places my ancestors lived and learning everything I can about them.
