Bio

When I was younger, I remember my great-aunt walking around the cemetery after we visited family members. She'd tell my mum "let's go in this direction. Oh! Have a look at this one" referring to the headstones of complete strangers. I thought it was so strange!

Now an adult, I've found myself sometimes wondering about the poor souls laying forgotten, with abandoned graves. Have they got loved ones who are unable to visit? Have they got living relatives that know where they are laid to rest?

Findagrave is a wonderful place to make sure that these people are never forgotten. Being a digital memorial, it's also a beautiful way for people around the world to remember and see the final resting place of loved, lost, close, distant, relatives, ancestors and friends.
