Hello!

My name is Shari and the "bug" has hit me too! I got it from my mom who has been doing genealogy research on our family since the 1970's. I'm so thankful she decided to capture our families information, photos, stories and memories. I really enjoy learning about my families history and how we have become who and where we are today! I love researching with her in this common interest we share, as mother and daughter!

I believe that tombstones should be captured and preserved as they tell a story and are an integral piece of the puzzle we seek to solve, remember and cherish! It saddens me when I see the degradation of cemeteries or broken gravestones. These are our loved ones from years passed.... many I wish I could have had the pleasure in meeting.

I presently reside in Schertz, TX, just outside of San Antonio. I've lived several places over the course of my life - Palos Verdes, CA, Mpls., MN, Midlothian, VA, Warrington, PA and Schertz, TX. My family roots are mainly in the Ohio and PA areas.

I haven't been on Findagrave very long but have really enjoyed the wealth of information it holds. Everyone I have "met" has been so helpful. Over the course of doing research on here, I've even "met" a few new relatives I didn't even know I had, which has been awesome! I enjoy making new connections and getting to know new friends, like you :).
