Bio

I am a Permanent Deacon in the Catholic Church. I was ordained in 1998 for the Archdiocese of St. Louis and am assigned to St. Gerard Majella Parish in Kirkwood, St. Louis County, Missouri.

One of my hobbies is genealogy. I began working on my family history in 1990. I am a member of the St. Louis Genealogical Society.

In February 1764, one of my ancestors, Jean Baptiste Gamache, was one of the men who came with Auguste Chouteau to clear land for a settlement on the West Bank of the Mississippi River. Eventually, this settlement became the City of St. Louis. Gamache is recognized as a Founding Father.

My family has lived in the St. Louis Area for more than 250 years.
