I'm originally from Phoenix, Arizona. I've lived in in different parts of the US and in Germany, thanks to 27 years in the US Air Force. I settled in Wasilla, Alaska with my best friend and wife Andrea. I speak primarily English but I'm a fan of German, thanks in part to my wife, who was born and raised in Germany. I find it helpful too, because my genealogy pursuits have led me in that direction as well.
