Bio

An avid genealogist since 2006, I started with two old folders, one containing a family history project my father made when he was in high school, the second was a now outdated genealogy by Mary Locke. I created a 4000+ person "Kushion/Bell Family Tree" on Ancestry [username: hmkushion] which is now slightly outdated as I've focused more on using FamilySearch. I've also contributed to Geni and used it as a way to keep track of my living relatives. In the past couple of months I've also begun copying my research to WikiTree [ID: Kushion-1] and verifying it with DNA matches from Ancestry. I also have my DNA uploaded to GedMatch [Kit A616319].

My research includes anyone with any kind of connection to me, blood or otherwise, including their ancestors. I focus mainly on the Saginaw County, Michigan area, but have a tendency to do lateral research to prove the accuracy of what I find.
