My projects on Find-A-Grave focuses on several cemeteries in the Cibao valley region of the Dominican Republic. I am interested in archiving photos of gravestones in Santiago and La Vega.

My primary focus is on the Municipal Cemetery of Baitoa (Cementerio Municipal de Baitoa) which is located in Baitoa, Santiago, Dominican Republic in Latin America. Cemetery ID: 2672132.

My family history research focus has been on my maternal lineage, which descends from Baitoa, Santiago, Dominican Republic. My mother's family resided in Baitoa, Santiago, Dominican Republic since the 18th century. Some of our ancestors may have come from Catalonia, Spain. A few of our ancestors were Taino and African.

My surnames includes Franco, Nunez, Coronado, Corona, and Perez from Baitoa, and Hernandez, Del Orbe, Abreu, and Espinal from La Vega. My research has focused on Dominican Genealogy, with a special interest in the Nunez and Franco families. My second-great-grandfather, Gabriel Franco Nunez, was one of the early founders of the first primary school of Baitoa, Santiago, Dominican Republic.

I would also like to offer thanks and appreciation for several Dominican natives for helping me to take photographs of headstones and contribute to my work in Dominican genealogy.
