I live in Scotland, but have Irish ancestry. I have researched all of my family tree and continue to add to it. I tend to concentrate on the Lanarkshire area when adding memorials.
When adding a memorial, I normally estimate the birth year from the age given on the headstone and always try to link family members. I often use Scotlandspeople to help me with my research if I can't make out a date on a headstone.
If any mistakes have been made on memorials such as inaccurate dates and typos, please feel free to suggest edits.
If you would like memorials or photos taken down please let me know, the purpose of this is not to offend anyone but for genealogy.
I try to take good photos so that the headstone inscriptions are visible. Sometimes I also update photos on existing memorials or on my own memorials. Please feel free to share my headstone photographs among family members, family or local history groups, or on genealogy websites such as ancestry.com etc.
Once again, please message me if you would like me to take photos down from memorials. I do not want to cause offence in any way.
I am happy to transfer memorials into the care of relatives of the deceased. Please include the memorial IDs of the deceased in your request and also your findagrave ID so that I can easily make the transfer.
Please note that I might not transfer the memorial to you if I am related to the deceased. If you have any edits make then please suggest edits. If you would like to add a bio then I would be happy to add it for you.
If you have information about a memorial or changes to suggest then please feel free to suggest edits. If you would like to add a bio or bio info then I would be happy to add it for you.
I often get quite a lot of messages so please don't feel offended if I don't get back to you for a while. Also please note that if you have disabled messaging on your account I cannot reply to your message. A number of members have sent me messages but I have been unable to reply because they have disabled messages.
