I initially came to Find a Grave to start a virtual cemetery with family members. I soon discovered that there were so many dedicated members doing research and making memorials through their hard work but had not posted a photo of the headstone, possibly due to distance.
I decided to follow up and add a photo whenever possible. I feel honored to be able to take pictures to complete what so many have dedicated themselves to doing. I make a list of those graves needing a photo and then walk the cemeteries to find the gravesite. I discovered some graves in need of a memorial during my wanderings and have begun adding them.
If any member is bothered by me adding a photo to their memorials please let me know and I will no longer do it.
Also, if any memorial I make needs to be transferred please let me know and I will do it as soon as possible. I truly enjoy being able to add my little contribution to Find a Grave and don't intend to upset another member or family so let me know if I do.
