My project is creating my family trees on Family Search and WikiTree. My family members are helping me build the family trees. My son Dominique Shepard who is in the Navy and is currently stationed in California helps. My mom Shirl Miles and Grandma Frances Miles provide me with information about our Vanmeter, Israelson, Lightfoot and Miles family members. My father Joseph Shepard provides me with information about our Waggoner and Shepard family members. There are genealogists at both family trees who also contribute.

While I'm contributing to the family trees I always do a little more to help out other people with their family trees. The way that I look at it is, we are connected in some way on the grand family tree, so I treat other genealogists as family. If I am faced with a tough challenge on the family tree sites I imagine that other people have the same difficulty, so I do what I can to help.
