Biography

I was born in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan and my family moved to Alabama in the late 1970s. I served in the Alabama Army National Guard and am a graduate of Auburn University and the University of Alabama. Besides being an amateur genealogist, I am a member of the Ontario Genealogical Society and volunteer as Assistant National Adjutant and Comptroller of the Scottish American Military Society (SAMS). I have visited several of my Adams family's old homesteads along the Wilderness Road in Virginia and west to Fort Harrod. I enjoy connecting with others who share my ancestral heritage in North America, the British Isles, and Scandinavia.
