Born in West Union, IA in building which is now the local historical society! I lived on farm just north of Hawkeye, IA for 17 years. We moved to rural Randalia, IA where my siblings attended school in Fayette, IA and I finished at No. Fayette in West Union. I graduated from Morningside College in Sioux City where I married Richard L Solheim. He was in Marine Corps for a few years during which we lived in VA, NC and CA. Just as my divorce was becoming final 15 years later I met my current husband Bob Craig. I worked in many places but eventually became a controller with what is now WestRock and worked in Sioux City, IA, Springfield, MO and moved to Kansas City to work in the St Joseph, Liberty and Blue Springs locations. I am now retired
