My particular interest is in cemeteries where my own relatives are buried, but it seems selfish just to photograph my own relatives! So I photograph the gravestones of others' relatives too.

I am currently working my way through the photographs I have taken of gravestones in the Jüdischer Friedhof (new Jewish cemetery) of Mainz, Germany, but my home town is New York City.
